For many KLrians, Hulu Langat might seem like an unlikely choice for a staycation due to its proximity to the city, leading to the assumption that there aren’t any good places to unwind. However, this couldn't be further from the truth. I recently discovered Teduhan @ Hulu Langat, an ideal spot for creating memorable moments with your family.

The impressive in-house facilities ensure you’re entertained throughout your stay, leaving no room for boredom. One of the most striking features is the giant slides by the pool. Additionally, there is a large compound housing various animals, creating a small jungle safari experience. Imagine living surrounded by free-range animals: ostriches walking past you and petting animals within arm’s reach.

There’s even a deer land set up on a hillside where you can trek and observe their habitat. This place is incredibly cool, with numerous fruit trees planted throughout the resort area. During Durian season, you might hear the occasional impact of falling durians, reminding you of the harvest time. The strong durian scent during this period adds to the remarkable experience of a true farm stay.

Let me walk you through the layout of the resort:

Upon arrival, you’ll drive across a metal bridge and encounter a gate indicating that this is private property, accessible only to guests. After parking your car, the staff will explain the in-house rules and the available facilities.

Room types :-

1. Bamboo Cottage

This is the room type we booked ad we only came in 2 persons. Bamboo Lodge is built at the higher point of the resort and viewing the entire pool side and mounting scenery. It's so astonishing and cold at night.

But the only least point is you've to clime a quite tall stairs to reach our to your room. It's not so suitable for elderly but it's perfect for a adventurous couple.

2. Teduhan Villa

This villa can accmodste up to 8 - 10 pax. The entire villa consists of lower ground ( 1 or 2 bedroom) and a attic platform. The interior is super awesome. If you come in a big family, then it's really an ideal place for you. The villa is equipped with all the essentials including bathroom, kitchen, and living all.

The flooring is truly amazing. There is part if the flooring is transparent and it can be sen through the underneath ground with revier flowing. The most revolutionary one is that every villa comes with a private pool. So you can have yourself dipped into the pool or join the common pool for fun. It's so much lovely and interesting.

3. Kampung Style House / Riverside Cottage

This is the first phase of resort house that the owner built. This is alike a malay kampung village house with wooden concept. But there is no fan in it. There is a small balcony outdoor for enjoying the fruit tree view.

I do like their concept of traditional malay houses. It's cooling during night time and it allows the experience of staying in this modern classic with traditional way of living.

4. Tent / Camping 🏕

Back to basics: if you want to experience camping by the river, you can choose to stay in a tent. Camping with your loved ones is the perfect way to bond. Enjoy heart-to-heart talks under dim lights, listen to the rhythm of the river, and let the morning chirping of birds wake you. It's unbelievably awesome!

Facilities

A. Swimming Pool

The swimming pool featured with giant slides is the best highlight within the resort.

You can spend the whole day soaking into the pool or simply enjoy a sun bathing whenever you feel like having it.

Most importantly, unlimited access to giant slides

B. Small gated Zoo / Birds Aviary 🐦

There is a small private Zoo within teduja. Resort. The guest can access to this gated zoo and watch deer feeding or other wild animals.

C. Free range petting animal

Simply walk around within the resort compound and spot some petting animals such as peacock, duckling, goose, roaster and many more.

D. Fruit Tree Tour / Durian Feast

There are many different kind of fruits trees planted within the resort. If you're coming during the harvesting season, it's fun to have your own pick foods and ease your crave with their top graded durian

Fortunately, our arrival coincided to the durian season. The owner treated us a durian feast as a gesture of welcoming and appreciation of our choice to stay with teduhan.

Complimentary Breakfast

They're also serving good breakfast in the morning for the guest. You can have your American breakfast at the poolside or simply find a spot to enjoy your breakfast tea and coffee !

For a quick weekend getaway close to Klang Valley, this destination offers an ideal escape to nature. It's perfect for family bonding, featuring a unique stay, an amazingly cool pool, and giant slides. Without a long drive, you can easily access this natural retreat, making it a great vacation spot for all ages and families.
