Living in Klang Valley, we're always facing a challenge that *where to go* besides Shopping Mall? If you're only having one day off or just a short weekend.
Don't feel like driving far is always a reason that make us settle down in shopping mall nearby for the entire day.
We end up spending more than our budget and being confined into a air-conditioned building that luring us to have impulsive buying behaviour. This is called mall addiction.

Foods
This Pan Mee restaurant is located in He Ping village. Pls take note that this is not the traditional pan Mee, it's quite unique especially when it tastes a little bit like Ramen.
Truly impressed by the topping used for the Pan Mee. They used corns, seaweeds, prawns, fish cakes. Price is super reasonable too.
The texture of the noodles is a bit thick, smooth and slippery. Very tasty when it's soaked into the soup essence. I ordered the seafood ramen Pan Mee, 4 big fresh prawns found in my bowl and it costs only RM 8.00. Can you believe it ? Haha
Come and check it out.

2. Uncle Peng Noodles House
You would probably come across many noodles houses in Serdang area. But I would recommend you to try this Uncle Peng.
The signature is the pork noodles and in house snacks & finger foods. The soup base is so fine, it seems like really cooked for many hours with the essence of the pork meat. It's not greasy or any Ajinomoto kind of soup will make you guzzle few gallon of waters afterwards. Besides, the lard topped on your noodles is so fragrantly awesome.
The extra credit is the portion is really HUGE. And price is super reasonable. I also like the fried fish paste. The fish paste is very soft and fresh. Coated with crispy surface. Perfect!

Spotted this restaurant during my food hunting in Serdang and decided to give this a try.
A very casual but full of home cooked taste restaurant.
Surprisingly the taste was so superb and it made me reminisce the taste that I had during my trip in Taiwan.
At last, we discovered that the owner is a Taiwanese woman, that's reason the food is so Taiwanese alike.
The owner was so friendly & hospitable and having shared with us her lifelong story as well as the business establishment in Malaysia.
I truly love their bento set and light bites. There are many other choices in their menu, all are the authentic taste brought to you from Taiwan!

7. Spicy Soup Kien Kee Restaurant
In one particular moment, a long lost taste suddenly reminds us that we've not had a kind of pepper spicy soup for quite a long time.
Still remember when I was having that in my granny house when all sort of meat dishes displayed on table, and this pepper spicy soup would always complement others & be a best match.
Usually we would only have this during the festive like CNY or any other special occasion.
As for now, we decided to find a restaurant offering this kind of spicy soup to ease our craves. Finally we managed to locate this in Serdang. A very localised taste situated in a row of old shop lot.
From outside, you can sense a very strong pepper smell and the shop reminds me the old timer village where my granny used to stay.
Very authentic. The soup was cooked in a claypot, added in with pork sliced, chicken cutlets, salted vege and intestine.
First spoonful of soup really energized me with a lot of positive aura. The spicy soup essence felt like removing all the cold and chills from my body.
Although the temperature out there was more than 40 degree, the feeling of drinking spicy soup in the hot weather was somehow too impressive.
The soup was flavorful, and the spiciness was well blended with the meat. The natural sweetness from the meat and mild saltiness from the vege slowly penetrated into your tastebuds. It's too good to believe!
We ordered the Hua Diao chicken too. Well marinated chicken cooked with black sauce with mild scent of Chinese wine. Good match to the rice.

8. Home made Bao ( 666 Bao Stall)
We came to know this home made Bao from a local villager. You can't find any information of this home made Bao in the web search. It has to be introduced by the local.
It took us very long to find this place through asking few local people with manual direction pointing.
There is no major signage or signboard at this place. We'd to really drive along houses to houses to locate this. Finally we found it with my mom's good eyesight. She noticed there was a super small yellow board outside a gate of a terrace house. And a lot regular clients in and out from this place. We quite concluded that this must be the place of making Bao.
No doubt, it's exactly the Bao place we're looking for.
Walking into the house and still didn't notice any sign of bao steaming. Until we entered to the side corridor, only we saw few wooden steamer with smoke rising up, BAO!
The Bao was very fine with its skin surface, and super soft in the texture.
The dough is super soft & chewy plus the house made filling, it's too awesome.
No regrets!
