5. Bukit Changkat Asa

On our recent visit to Tg Malim, we explored a scenic hiking trail that's truly unique, especially due to the red-colored tree trunks found about 500 meters before the peak.

This trail is relatively unknown and not fully cleared, with sections still covered in thick bushes. However, the pathway is still traceable. It's not difficult and is suitable for beginners, though you might need to overcome initial doubts when facing the thick underbrush at the start. Don't worry—just push through, and you'll soon find a clearer, brighter path.

**Directions:**

A. Use Waze to navigate to KTM Tg Malim. You can park at the KTM station or along the roadside.

B. Locate the junction with a small sign indicating Jalan Lambak.

C. Continue until you see a beautiful traditional Malay house. You're on the right path. Walk past it and you'll reach a small bridge.

D. Cross the 1st small bridge, which leads to another main bridge.
