2D1N 5-Star Farm Stay @ Kerling — The Lumpang Resort
I never expected to find a farm stay that delivers such a luxurious and thoughtful experience. From the moment we checked in, every detail was carefully planned to ensure guests feel comfortable, entertained, and completely relaxed. From the warm hospitality to the meals, activities, and accommodation, everything was designed with the guest’s convenience in mind.
You’ll hardly feel bored here. Their current “Stay & Play” promotion allows guests to convert the room rate into credits, which can then be used for various in-house activities — making the entire stay even more exciting and worthwhile.
Below is my walkthrough of the experience.
🏡 Rooms & Chalets
The resort offers several types of rooms and chalets to accommodate different group sizes. Each unit has its own unique character and thoughtful interior design.
We chose the Lumpang B room, which comfortably fits 6 guests. The unit features upper and lower platforms, both furnished with cozy bedding. The beds were extremely comfortable.
Our room also came with a balcony overlooking the rolling mountains, offering a beautiful sunset view — a truly relaxing sight.
Every small detail was well thought out: the chairs, tables, lamps, and layout all felt carefully designed. The balcony itself was very comfortable and even equipped with sunshade curtains to protect guests from heat and rain.
The room was also equipped with thoughtful essentials such as:
Electric coil stove
Mini fridge
Chopping board
Wine glasses
Sink basin
Kettle and other necessities
All electrical appliances were of good quality, reflecting how much the resort values guest comfort.

🍽️ Full Board Meals
The package comes with full board meals, which include tea time, dinner, and breakfast.
1. Tea Time
A generous spread including curry puffs, Malay pastries, green bean soup, curry vegetables, fried noodles, herbal eggs, and unlimited custom-made drinks.
2. Dinner (Two Options)
One of the highlights is the Unlimited Mookata & Steamboat.
There is a wide variety of ingredients, including seafood, grilled beef, chicken, lamb, and many steamboat selections. Ingredients are stored in a fridge to ensure freshness.
A special highlight is their homemade Yong Tau Foo, which tasted absolutely amazing.
3. Breakfast
Breakfast was equally impressive with a wide selection of local favourites.
Guests can even order unlimited à la carte dishes, including:

Custom-made drinks

The resort is surrounded by hundreds of durian trees, and walking through the orchard allows you to enjoy the gentle fragrance of blooming durian flowers.
🚗 Additional Services
Buggy service is available throughout the resort. Guests can call for a buggy anytime if transportation within the property is needed.

The staff members are very approachable, attentive, and caring. They are always ready to help, which makes the stay even more pleasant.
✨ Overall Experience
Overall, the staycation was truly remarkable and memorable. I would confidently rate it as a five-star farm stay, considering the excellent hospitality, thoughtful facilities, and comfortable accommodation.
The concept is modern and urbanised, yet farm-inspired, making it perfect for those who enjoy nature while still appreciating modern comfort.
I will definitely return for a second visit.
