One of the best thing to do in Kuantan is plowing the sand and searching for the giant clams. The clams are hiding beneath the sand, and you need use the shovel or a hand-held equipment to retrieve them. It's all about skills and luck ! If you can harvest more than 10 pcs., means it's ready to be plated up !

2. River Bank Hotel

One of the impressive budget hotel with the special highlight of Kuatan River View. Kuantan River shows 2 contrast characteristics between day and night time. Day time, the river is crowded with high traffic water taxi, yet, night time, it appears as a quiet and lonely stream with only the moonlight reflecting in the river surface.

3. Le Lodge Kuantan (Budget Homestay)

One of the affordable and clean budget hotel with private pool. Worth to stay for a night or 2.

4. Swissbelle Hotel

This is the one of the best hotel I've ever stayed in kuantan.  Recommend to opt for seaview room. The unblocked seaview from the unit is splendidly gorgeous. It's like watching a LED screen with borderless  seaview background. The ceiling height window provide a high resolution seaview visual sense.

In addition, the borderless sand beach in front of the hotel is the one of the key attraction for digging clams. You will definitely get addicted to this activity when you've a great harvest.! The clams are too fresh and juicy. You can also bring it to the restaurant and ask for cooking assistance with a reasonable servive charge.

The clams are just to fresh and irrestibly toothsome ! You reap what you sow. When your're slurping the clams flesh, that's the moment you feel so much meaningful with your hard- earned harvest.
