Happy Valley Eco Resort - A modest resort quietly nestled in the core of Tanjung Malim Forest

Tanjung Malim is not a common highlight for the resort homes or staycation.

Many locals will just touch and go as Tanjung Malim is always treated as a pitstop before reaching all the popular destinations such as Ipoh, Taiping. Penang and etc

Tanjung Malim not far from Kuala Lumpur its about an hour drive from Kuala Lumpur. however, if we zoom into this peaceful town, you find alot hidden gems buried deep into the town.

In this blog, I'll introduce a farm stay where you can hardly navigate using your common searching tool. It appears not really fascinating in the booking platform however, you will surely be impressed by the lush green environment surrounded by foggy hills and scented fruits farms.

It's truly a picturesque resort homes. There is no sophisticated theme park but the beautiful nature will remind you the simply the best ! Simply pick a fruits and crunch it with your grinning teeth, that's the most blissful thing in the world !

If you come on during season, you can have an opportunity to try the best Musang King Durian species exclusively produced by the resort

4. Breakfast

They're serving some simple breakfast such as Nasi Lemak, Toast, coffee and Tea, and Fruits platter. It's simple yet hearty !

5. Entrance

Upon arrival, you need to hold on outside the gate. Press the honk and an uncle will open the gate and grant the entry. Sometimes if might take a longer waiting time if the uncle is not stationed at the gate.

Comments

I find this is a very family oriented farm. Spacious compound, beautiful fruit farms, clean and organised rooms, sizable swimming pool, breathaking scenery. This is really a lungs cleaning place and you will find your soul being calmed and well meditated throughout the entire stay.

It's a very good family bonding place too. In a starry night, when the cricket is at a high-pitched notes, the air has become colder, and the crescent moon is smiling at us. You will then find the deep tranquility.

Essentialy, what we actually need in life is just simple vacation to relax our mind and soul!

Pros

- All staff are very friendly and accommodative.

- Spacious Compound

- Clean and comfortable rooms

Cons

- Air-conditioning is not really working well. Not cooling

- Breakfast is tasty (Nasi Lemak). But to be more variety

- All the in house activities such as Bicycle, table Tennis, Pool Table are not upkept properly.

We will surely return for 2nd time. We hope to have chance to stay through during fruits harvesting season such as Durian, Mangosteen and etc. I'm sure we will be wowed by the unforgettable harvesting experience.
