Star Fish Leisure Farm Resort - Forget about your tablets, everything back to basics and nature!

Star Fish Leisure Farm resort is nestled remotely in one of the Kulai Estate. You need to drive about 2 km on a bumpy rocky path before reaching to this farm.

This farm stay will keep you entertained throughout the entire stay and this is the place where you can completely let go your electronic gadgets except using it to take some memorable pictures.

Generally, this farm staycation will ideally package all your essentials including meals, accomodation, facilities, and activities. Throughout your stay in, you need not to drive out to source for any food or basic necessities.

The intention of this farm stay is letting you settle down and fully focus on the activities without scratching your head to think of other arrangement. Especially when you're having children with you, everything will be sorted out by the resort management and you can pay 100% focus in your family bonding time.

Let me walk you through with some details and the layout of this resort. Perhaps you can shortlist for your next holiday vacation.

Upon arrival :

1. There is a spacious parking space in front of the lobby.

2. The guest need to walk through a small welcome walkway to reach out to the lobby.

3. Lobby

The lobby is truly spacious. It consists of the following :-

- 2 level dining areas the upper level is more cosy. It's like a beautiful garden yard area.

- The lower ground is an open dining area

- There is a reception counter for managing the check in and check out procedure.

- A cafe serving some afternoon tea and pastries (additional charge)

- A main Kitchen where the chef prepares our dinner.

- A giant fish pool for feeding fun

4. A gate to enter to the park and resort homes. Some nice mural for you to take pictures.

5. Vegetable farm - There is a small vegetable farm labelled with specific vegetable names for some learning tips.

5. A walk way about 500m long to reach out to all the different types of Villas.

7. Type of Villas

All the villas are named using the specific Fish Terms. Such as Tilapia, white fish, grouper and etc. It depends on which type of villa you've been assigned. It's fun to say you are staying in Tilapia Villa.

The villa has been painted with beautiful murals. Mostly with Fish arts. The room is quite basic yet clean and comfortable. We've been allocated a room called *Shun Ke*. It's a type of high graded fresh water fish called Marble Goby.

Our villa is featured with :-

- 2 double deckers (lower deck is queen and upper deck is single) can fit a capacity of 6 maximum.

- a balcony facing lotus pond

- aircond

- the bathroom is detached but just next to our doorstep.

8. Package / Meal

The package of this farm staycation include

A. 2 days 1 night accomocatiom in one of the villa

B. 3 meals - Dinner, Supper (BBQ) and breakfast

C. All in-house activities except:- ATV and Animal Feeding Foods.

9. There are 2 common resting area available. One is at the middle of the lake and another is stationed at the edge of the pathway. This common area is equipped with all the basic nessicities including water dispenser, sofa lounge TV and other amenities.

10. There are 3 section(s) of the Ponds

A. POND A - PULLING BOAT FUN

B. POND B - KAYAKING

C. POND C - PHYSICAL TESTING CHALLENGE

11. Instagramable Photo Spots

There are many nice photo spots within the resort for you to take some memorable pictures with you loved ones. Do discover all of them !

12. Pro & Cons

Pro :-

-The room is comfy and clean

-There are many outdoor activities to keep you entertained during the entire stay.

-The surround is quiet and tranquil.

-The supper BBQ is superb. They will provide all the equipment and foods sticks. Moreover, we can conveniently do it near our villa or the balcony area.

-Many indoor games too like darts, board games and etc. So you won't feel bored even at night time.

Cons:-

-If your villa is stationed at the last section , you need to carry your own luggages and walk about 500m distance to reach out to the villa. For dining, you need to walk back to the lobby with the same distance. There us no buggy available for transporting .

-The aircond is only available from 9pm to 9am. So during daytime, the aircond is not working.

-The breakfast is rather basic. Not many choices. But the dinner and supper are more preferable.

-Bathroom is clean but it's a detached concept.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay in this resort. We truly enjoyed ourselves in all the outdoor activities. It's definitely a good family bonding place to spend some memorable time.

For a company, this might be a perfect team building place too.

Will surely return for 2nd time.
