LKE GREEN FARM - A Beautiful Farm with mighty concept

LKE green farm - A Beautiful Farm with mighty concept

After visiting the Meren Farm near Karak  we've transited to the next farm destination called LKE Green Farm.

This is a very spacious and revolutionary farm with an urban concept. The owner Dato Jackky is the 3rd Generation of the family and he is also the founder of this LKE technology.
Dato Jackky and his partner Jeremy Chin (co-founder) have meneavuered into a most mordenized concept of operating an agricultural farm, using the advanced technologies to elevate the farming industries into another level of success.

Todate, thier main development base will be centralised in Machis District. A rural area further down from Karak downtown. Manchis is a very small and quiet town, it houses only a small population of approximately 300 people.
With the presence of LKE development, Manchis town has started breaking their long asleep spell and gradually moving into a potential booming stage.

LKE has invested so much efforts to buy in some of the idle land with half dead situation from the small owner and they started to covert it into a fertile and multipurpose land.

LKE is specialising in Durian farms. By paying forward the experiences of running a during Farm, they also started to explore other agricultural business such as fruit and vegetable farm, resort homes, recreational park and finally to transform into a key tourism spots. Of course, Durian is still one of the main focus to attract the tourist abroad.

Their projects have been divided into multiple phases, all phases are named using the fruits name. It's quite unique and full of fruity scent. It also implies that every stage will be a fruitful stage !
Their project phases names include the following

DURIAN X
NANAS X
BANANA X
AND MANY MORE

Upon our arrival, we were truly amazed by the beautiful glass house standing gorgeously on top of the hills. At the foothill, there is a big canopy housing all the vegetables and plantation. Trust that it's using Hydroponic system

We proceeded to the counter at the main entrance and purchased the day trip entry tickets. And we were greeted warmly by our tour lead Mr. Jinson. Mr jinson is a very soft-spoken  and polite person. He gave us a brief introduction about the entire tour of the day and his hospitality was indeed a beautiful start of the trip.

He led us to the Hydroponic section which was the first section that we visited. He patiently explained the entire Hydroponic treatment system and how they cultivated the crops using this technology.

1st section : Honeydew Farm

Many rows of Honeydew plants lining up neatly and stretched out as far as the eyes can see. Every plant will have a golden Honeydew hanging on it. The scenery is truly breathaking!

2nd section : Cherry Tomato Nursery

So impressed by million of bunches of Cherry Tomatos 🍅 on all the plants. They're like Christmas Trees with the charming  ornaments. It's really cool ! Walking in between the plants, it's identical to the cherry blossom 🌸 walk. The only lacking was having no petals falling.
Our guide was truly hospitable and he offered us a packet of tomatoes and let us try its juiciest taste. This also proves that their farming technology has empowered a success in cultivating a freshest vegetables.

3rd Section - Hydroponic vegetable farm.

All sorts of vegetable growing healthily under a special care of the owner. The natural colour of green seems glowing out a light of hopes. Their vibrant green was telling us that going green is the only way to live life to fullest !

4th Section - Glass House Cafe

Our guide then led us to the glass house and we could take a break by ordering some refreshing drinks. This glass house cafe is built on top of a hill. A stairs was ascending all the way up to the top platform. The glass cafe house is designed in an urban concept and it's divided into few levels. The middle level is the wash room and the top level is slit into outdoor and indoor.
The glass house consists of :-
1. Indoor lounge
2. Outdoor seating areas
3. Balcony with some seating arrangement overseeing the beautiful scenic farm view.
4. Some arts exhibition
5. Exhibition about their farm plans
6. Background and Establishment Journey
7. Murals wall
8. Photo spots

At the foothill below the glass house, there is a very beautiful statue with some water flowing system. The statue is essentially a both hands receiving the water from the hills. Trust that it symbolises the wealth and prosperity. This is surely an auspicious tailor-made design with ample of Feng Shui means.

At the right side of the glass house, there is a small hill with more than hundred kind of young Durian Trees . This will be driven as a key tourism spot to educate some foreign investors about all Malaysia Durian species at one glance.

Our guide has recommended us to try thier vegetable juice. We've ordered 2 glasses of vegetable juice and some coffee based drinks. Surprisely, the vegetable juice was truly amazing. We thought it would be a bitter one, yet it tasted a little bit sweet with some lemon zest. Super cool drinks.

Price :
RM 8 per glass of vegetable juice
Other drinks : RM 5 - RM 8

5th section - Ginger and Watermelon Farm

Further up from the glass house, there is a small area of plantation of the old ginger farm as well as a watermelon farm. The uniqueness is that the watermelon is growing on a sprawling method not from ground. According to our guide, this is to avoid being destroyed by some insects. The hanging watermelon is small and round. Really adorable.

6th section - Jeep Ride

Out package was inclusive a Jeep ride to see some of their current and upcoming projects. We were toured to both plantation. The Jeep ride was an open concept Jeep. Very windy while the car was moving.

First stop was a new development land with the Musang King Trees.

Second stop was a fruits plantation with glampimg zone. The guest can choose to spend a night here. The stay is packaged with full meals. Besides glamping, there is also a beautiful fish koi pond and petting animal corners.
