Home Sweet Home Guest House (我行我宿)

If you're planning your trip to Jeram or Kuala selangor for a package of sky Mirror or other full board packages, you may try out this home sweet home. It's called 我行我宿 in mandarin.

I would rate this full board package organised by home sweet home with 5 stars and it's indeed so worthwhile and fullest for a 2d 1n stay.

We'd been truly impressed by their hospitality, and their follow-up on the guest request was truly impressive and seamless. From our arrival until checking out, they've never been compromised with any service provision & procedures. In fact, they've given their best to fulfil all our needs during our stay.

I would say this is really a VIP arrangement with the following excellent service impression.

We've been welcomed by the lady owner J.low and she brief us through the procedures and the itinerary for our entire stay. She patiently explained and guided us through every detail of our stay.

Our guest house was situated between an intermediate shoplot. It is really unnoticeable and it looks abit run down  from downstairs. However, don't judge from outside, the moment we pushed the door and went upstairs, the interior set up has been making us a VOW effect

Night Time Program

6.30pm - The coach came and fetch us and transferring us to JETTY

6.45pm - Boating for evening birds watching. This was the best time to see million of birds flying back to their nest. Our boat led us to the middle of the bay and our tour guide pour some food waste (Chicken Oil) in the middle of stream. Very quickly, there were many birds flying closer to our boat and trying to pick the foods on the surface of the water. There were eagles, seagull and many more.

7.30pm - Night Boating for Blue Tears

The departure of blue tears boating trip was set at night time. We need to hold until the sky turned into complete darkness, then only we can start cruising around. Reason is due to blue tears mineral will only be more appearance at night time. In day time, the glowing blue water won't be easily spotted.

Blue Tears is actually a sort of mineral underneath the ocean. It's formed by a mixture of sea mineral & micro-organizm. The uniqueness is that it will appear as a glowing blue light and moving along with the sea water.

Our guide scoped some sea water and pour into our inner deck. It was like a blue shining star flowing around and sometimes it looks alike an alien blood. Haha.

Picture is for illustration only.
Too dark to capture the real image of the blue glowing light

8.30pm - Dinner at one of the seafoods restaurant

This was considered one of the most splendid seafoods feast in our trip. Our dinner was served with the freshness sea delights. Our dinner menus as follow

1. XXXL Crabs

2. Salted eggs Squid

3. Chillie pepper prawns

4. Lemon Chicken

5. Stir fried Vegetable

6. Steamed Nyonya Stingray

7. Fried Mantis Prawn

8. Rice & Tea

The dinner was really satisfying. We gulp and we bulp ! Nothing left on the plates before we left.

9.30 pm

The coach transfered us to our guest house

Free amd easy

2ND DAY

6.30am - Morning Call

7.30am - Breakfast Provided (Fried Noodles with Eggs + Dessert Soup)

8.30am - Depart for Sky Mirror Trip

Guided Tour. We'd been assigned with a personal guide to lead us through the entire trip. His name is Ah Lin. He's a very humorous guy and very experienced in handling the local tour.

He's familiar with the sea condition and he always ensure our safety during the trip.

He explained that the Sky Miror is essentially a piece of massive sandy land appearing in the centre of the ocean. It's like a miraculous borderless sand suddenly rises above ghe sea level. This is a very unique phenomena whereby the tourist could only reach out to this deserted land via a boat transfer.

Imagining you're cruising through a very deep ocean at the beginning  and out of sudden, a multi layered colours of sand stretching across the sea and the a massive piece of sandy beach just right in the core if the ocean.

Our boat was just docking near to the so called deserted land and the guide asked us to disembark from the boat. We were shocking that the water level was indeed so shallow and it was only up to ankle level. We followed our guide and walked across to the center of the beach. And we started setting up our equipment  for camera shooting.

Reason of calling this place sky Mirror due to it's alike a massive dessert with the reflection from the shallow water. And when the sea water is at a calm condition, you can see a very clear shadow underneath your feet. It's just like a clone of an upside down.

Our guide set up all the equipment and picked a perfect spot.

And we started to do alot posing just to capture a perfect shadowing pictures. Our guide even gave us a clue ok how to capture a perfect image .

We are given only a specific duration to stay in this sky Mirror land. Very quickly, we saw the sandy land had expanded further and strech out as far as the eyes can see. Seems like it has joint with the sky horizon.

Our guide reminded us to follow instruction. We were only allowed to stay for 1 1/2 hours. Due to the low tide was processing too fast, if we missed the golden time, we might be trapped here until 2pm.

As such, cooperation is highly needed

11.30am

Finally we were back at the jetty.

The coach transferred us back to our guest house for freshening up and preparing for check out.

12.30pm - The owner was so accommodative to our requests of the extension hours for the check out in view of we were having some kiddies issues

We checked out around 1pm

1.30pm - we went for our packaged lunch. We'd been prepared for a Thai Style BBQ grill and Steamboat lunch. The meal was filling and complete. It wasn't the best Thai bbq but it was somehow very satisfying. This lunch was the last itinerary in our trip.  We took our own sweet time to grill and shabu. What a wondeful ending of our trip.

Personally, I find this trip very worthwhile and satisfying. The owner is hospitable and the trip is indeed very family oriented. Everything is well prepared from top to toe. I would definitely recommend to others.

Thanks to Home Sweet Home for such a wonderful staycation. You've made our moments extra splendidful. We will surely return for another stay in future.
