Ipoh Food & Attractions ( Journey to mountain paradise)

IPOH - A town embraced by lofty mountains.

IPOH is one of the busiest town within state of Perak and having many historical sites and footprints. Therefore, it's always called an OLD TOWN TASTE by the locals.

Ipoh is situated about 230km from Kuala Lumpur and it takes approximately 2 hours drive to arrive this old town. You can find a lot of attractions and interesting sites in Ipoh. Certainly, best foods is one of the highlight too and it should not be missed when you're setting your foot here.

Ipoh is having sizable Chinese community, therefore a lot of Chinese Delicacies can be found here. Of course Malay and Indian foods are plenty too, and all of them are conveniently reached out by the tourists

Mountain and Caves are one of the dominant features in Ipoh too, they're embracing ipoh town with their enormous body and warmest heart. The mountains and Caves are just like a guardian angel of Ipoh, protecting them years after years.

A lot of temples and praying houses are built within the Caves as the locals strongly believe that this mother nature is their spiritual god, guarding their souls and empower peace and tranquility to this living place.

As such, IPOH is always called a town by the mountain. And its nick name is a little GUI LIN (One of the place in China). As mountain is one of the signature highlight, it also makes IPOH a resourceful place. For instance, the local people will use the spring water to preserve the tofu and etc.

This is also the reason that IPOH used to be called a place that produces a lot of pretty girls with fair skin due to the effect of this spring water and fresh air hahahaha.
