We were pleasantly surprised by this secluded gem nestled atop a hill in the Kalumpang district. Surrounded by lush greenery and rolling hills, Kes Farm Stay offers a tranquil escape from the bustle of daily life. The highlight of the property is its charming container stay, fully equipped with all the essential amenities for a comfortable and modest retreat.

To access the resort, guests are transported via the resort’s own 4WD vehicle. The 15-minute ride up the rugged path adds a touch of adventure before reaching this peaceful haven.

What makes this place special is not just the setting, but the heart behind it. Every corner of this homestay was built brick by brick by the owner, Ken, over several stages — a true labour of love and passion. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Ken and his son, Zhong Re, who later gave us a detailed tour of the property.

Ken patiently introduced us to the orchard and explained the story behind the resort. Guests are welcome to pick fruits straight from the trees — although we missed the durian season, we still enjoyed some fresh rambutan, pink guava, and calamansi. As a warm gesture, Ken also served us fresh, juicy coconuts from the farm, which were incredibly refreshing.

We were also lucky to savour some durians, thanks to a kind gift from one of Ken's friends. Ken’s generosity and sincerity really made us feel at home.

Sometimes, life needs a pause. This is the perfect place to recharge your soul, reset your mind, and reconnect with nature.

👤 About the Host – Ken
Ken is a warm and easy-going host, passionate about farming and adventure. A seasoned motorcyclist, he once journeyed to Sichuan, China, covering over 6,000 km in 33 days, passing through multiple countries on his superbike.
Inspired by his childhood experiences helping his grandmother at the rubber estate, Ken turned his dream into reality by building this orchard farm with his own hands. The farm is run by Ken, his wife, son, and one dedicated worker — a true family affair.

He is patient, generous, and deeply committed to sharing his creation with guests. We are grateful for the experience and sincerely wish continued success for Ken and his beautiful retreat.

B）民房 2-4人（共用厕所）(Homestay with shared bathroom) - 2-4 pax - Rm 300

C）帐篷Rm80/人 -有2到6人（内设有床褥，被单，枕头，风扇，电灯）(Tent stay - RM 80 per pax) can accomodate 2 to 6 pax. The tent is featured with mattress, blanket, pillow, fan and lamp)
