Fraser Hills - A Quiet Stay @ Colonies

Many locals tend to overlook this small little woody hillside called Fraser Hills. Honestly, this hill is not as happening as others like Cameron Highlands, or Genting highlands.

However, this little hillside can somehow empower a deep calmness, quietness and tranquillity. If you feel like discharge yourself from the hustle and bustle city or simply wanna have a quiet time or soul meditation, fraser hill is an ideal place for you to find a inner peace.

Fraser hill has no fancy theme park, playpark or other sort of man-made park. It only has a huge piece of green patches grass fields, thick tropical forest and some wildlife to greet you as thier honored guest. Trust that this is the most natural way of welcoming gesture.

Simply observing the different species of birds, searching some exotic wild flowers 💐 or listening to the sound of nature. This is the most soothing way to find the inner peace in your soul. Forget about the time ticking, no routine, no conflicts and the only matters is the feasting your eyes with all the heavenly beautiful hilly paradise.

My 2 days 1 night stay in Fraser Hills has purified my soul deeply. The tiredness has vanished in the foggy weather and all my frustrating has been flushed off by a gust of cold winds.

I've chosen a stay in Colonies. A place was giving me so much warmness and memorable time. A place you tend to share more, eat more and laugh more. This little corner has empowered so much family bonding in this trip.

1. 80 Colonie

This is a fully furnished apartment within silver Park resort. It's named Colonies and trust that this range of apartment under "Colonies" is operated under the same landlord.

The house is fantastically renovated under an earth-tone concept. The interior is well organised and furnished extensively with all the essentials and designer ideas. All the facilties and amenities are very detailed and conveniently set up to make every guest a comfort stay.

BALCONY

Besides, the spacious balcony facing the nature is the most eye catching corner. The balcony is featured with a swing bed. This is so much captivating especially reading your favourite book while listing to the birds chirping sound. Sipping your afternoon tea with a slice of chiffon cake. Nothing is better than this kind of moment.

KITCHEN

Kitchen is rather complete and organised. All he utensils and kitchenware are provided. For Steamboat or cooking, both can be conveniently done in house. There are also indoor and outdoor kitchen. The outdoor can be used for main cook. The indoor os purely for preparation, washing or owen base foods.

LOUNGE SOFA

The L shape sofa is in the middle of living hall. After the meal, the guest can comfortably lie down at the lounge sofa to enjoy some TV show.

DINING TABLE

The long dining table is suitable for 4- 6 pax. The set up is like an old English house. The only is the candle light in the centre of the table.

ROOMS

Our unit is featured with 3 rooms 2 bathrooms . Master bedroom is having an attached bathroom.

All rooms are furnished with all the essentials and with urbanised designer concept. I do like their urban decorative concept. Using majority earth tone furniture blended with some English style renovation

- Master Bedroom : It's featured with a full wide clerestory window facing the nature. A king size bed with plain white fitted sheet and it looks exactly like a English cottage house design. Elegant and with modern classic.

2nd room - A queen size bed with a bedside cabinet. The most unique one is the clothes hanger rack. It's just like a simple small wooden ladder 🪜. But it does complement much in this modern classic design.

3rd room - 3rd room is a little bit mysterious. There is a treasure box placed beside the bed. It seems like a long lost treasure box from a pirate of carrabean. It looks a bit scary but it does match well to the entire concept.

TOILET

It's complete with all the essentials. Cool heater, cool decoration, the wooden door is using traditional metal hook concept, toiletries is complete and its a very comforting and convenient shower place.

We've done Steamboat and some small grill using the provided kitchenware. Super convenient. Slurping our soup in this silent cold whether, chewing a grilled steak and lamb cubes, complemented by a glass of red wine. I'm sure you can picture how much impressive this sort of soul retreat. Your mind will surely be switched to a slow-mo and jazz mode.

There is no TV channel, however, TV and HDMI cable are avaliable. If you bring your own TV box, you can surf through the channels.

Sitting at the swing bed in a silent night, looking and the thick fog slowly flout through from side to another. The insect buzzing rhythm, the bird chirping sound, midst gently tap on your forehead, the natural cold air slip into your ear, and the scent of flowers 💐 sweeten your nostril. This is the experience of staying in Colonies

• 🚘 🚘 2 cars per apartment (Colonie12 allowed 4 cars)

• Quiet Hours Policy 10PM - 7AM

• No parties /noisy gatherings

• No music on speakers /amplifier

• No smoking indoors /Pork-free

• Close balcony doors 🐒 when not in use

• Wash & clean up after using kitchen facilities

• Do NOT use bath towels as floor mats

• BBQ activities are NOT permitted in the apartment & balcony, including BBQ electric grills (building management rules)

• An outdoor communal BBQ pit is available @ RM70 per day. Subject to availability

• Bin your trash @ the trash bins in the carpark

• Park at yellow bays, RM50 clamping fine if parked at Owner’s Red bays

NOTE : Security Deposit is deducted for non-compliance to house rules / losses / damages.

We've chosen Hemmant Trails. One of the easy one. The distance is approximately 1km. It takes about 45mins to complete. Easy and most of the trails is a walking trails.
