The Farm Fresh Serdang - A Warm Welcome Milk from the Moo Cow

Trust that all Malaysian are always drawn by the beautiful farm abroad in some countries especially those with highly a family-oriented one.

Personally, my ideal farm theme is the one with a massive grassland and all the Dutch cow with black and white body are scattered throughout the farm, some dairy products freshly harvested from the farm are selling here, and a cafe serving some snacks and fresh yogurt ice cream with overseeing the beautiful farm view is stationed at the hill side, some educational farm activities such as cow milking 🐄, picking the fruits and vegetable and etc are avaliable to further entertain the visitors. This could be one of the most authentic farm experience that I always wish to have.

Lately, there is a new farm opening for public visit near Serdang. It's not far from Kuala Lumpur. It's about 40 mins drive form KL City Centre. This farm may not be 100% compatible to the dream farm as quoted above, yet this is probably one of the most revolutionary farm destinations where all the Malaysian can experience the most identical Dutch Lady moo farm.

This farm is operated by Farm Fresh. One of the renowned local Fresh Milk brand in Malaysia. The owner has invested so much efforts just to make sure the local Malaysian can have the same experience of a real farm delight.

Generally, this farm has been decorated and designed like a modern-classic barn alike concept. The farm consists of multiple sections and a spacious compound to house all the activities as well as some mocking farm workshop.

This is a very family-oriented place where all ages of people can find some very interesting facts in this farm introduced by Farm Fresh. It comes with a minimum entrance fees yet it's truly value for money. This little fees that contributed by the visitor will be used to maintain the farm and for other business sustainability.

This farm consist of the following sections :

1. merchandise / Desert Corners

Nothing is better than having a refreshing yougit ice cream while visiting the farm. There are few standalone Kiosk and Cafe serving some milk-based drinks as well as yogurt ice cream.

2. Fresh Milk Stall

The guest can bring back some fresh milk after visiting the farm. The milk is freshly bottled and the it tastes refreshing. The fresh milk is sold in a limited edition glass bottles. This limited edition glass bottle is only available in this farm stall. The farm fresh milk sold at all other groceries is in carton box.

3. Pumpkin 🎃 garden

There is a pumpkin garden where the pumpkins have grown so much fruitfully and all are beautifully hung on the sprawling plants at the back yard. Guest are allowed to carry it for funny photo shoot. It seems Halloween is around the corner

4. Animal Farm

There is a island alike section in the centre if the grassland housing some petting and tamed animals such as Deer, Peacock, Ducking and etc.

5. Flower and Vegetable section

Walking 🚶‍♂️ circling the farm, it will lead to a flower and vegetable farm at the most right side of the farm. Certain kind of vegetables and flowers specifies can be found here. It's a good learning point especially like me totally knowing nothing about the agriculture sector.

6. Beta Aquarium

There is also a small aquarium housing more than a hundred of beta fishes. With diffrent colours and species.

7. Birds / Chicken Pen

At the back of the farm, there is also a chicken pen and some kinds of birds 🐦.

8. Lady moo shed

At the most left side of the farm, this is the place where all our lady moo live. It's a shed with more than hundred of cows. The cows are group based on their ages. The cattle will be under 1 section and the grown-up will be on another shed.

The cows have been taken good care and they're showered frequently to ensure their hygiene. Music is played throughout the day to calm the cows and relax their mind. The main intention is to ensure they produce quality milk. The dung smell is unbearable however, it's essential for fertilising the crops nearby.

9. Restaurant

There is a restaurant within the farm. They're serving Asian fusion. So you don't have to worry about going out to source for lunch or dinner.

10. Other activities

By paying one off entrance fees, the guest can enjoy the following activities

A. Farm Tractor. The tractor can carry about 10 guests at once. The tractor tour is scheduled every 1 hour one trip. Every trip is accompanied by a tour guide. And the tour guide will patiently explain the process and other informing at every pit stop.

B. Taking pictire with Horse and Horse 🐎 cart. There is a horse cart look alike the cinderalla's one. Feel free to take a pictute before they are turned back to mices haha.

C. Choo Choo train. The kids can take a ride of this fuel-free train and round about the farm.

D. Instagramable spots

Tehre ate many places where the guest can take a very Instagramable spots. One of those is the painted cow statue. 🐄 there are many designs of cow statues with colourful outfit.

How to get there ?

-Waze to The Farm Fresh UPM serdang

-There are plenty parking outside the farm.

- in case the parking is full, pls proceed to the terminal A station nearby (around 3 mins drive) just opposite the farm fresh in the UPM compound. There is a FREE shuttle every half and hour.
