Serendah is a small town with a lot of hidden local food gems. There is nothing bold or fancy about this town, however, if you're looking for a place with some natural reserves, this might be place to allow you with a quick retreat or a rejuvation. It's just about 50 mins drive from KL City.
The key highlight of serendah is their beautiful lakeside. This town is prominently surrounded by a lot of fresh water lake. With a lot of broad mirror alike lake, people has called this place a fairly land. Many resort homes have been established in the later years.
Kuala Kubu Bahru is neighbouring to Serendah. Its about 15 km away from Serendah main town. Kuala Kubu Bahru town is also well known with its natural beauty. It has become one of the maintain for the travellers to stop over for a chill-out before heading up to Fraser Hills.
Kuala Kubu Bahru is a very historical town. This old town has been a developed since the colonial era. You can see a lot of giant trees lining up in this town, these trees are really enormous with a bold and thick swirling roots. These trees have witnesses all the happenings in Kuala Kubu Bahru.
Kuala Kubu Bahru was once lived by many Chinese community. It has gone through colonial war and alot of historical footprints. Today, this town has been in a peaceful stage, you may not see the vibrancy from the old era, however all the historical buildings and giant trees will help reminisce some shadows of the past incidents.

1. Oasis Cafe
A traditional kopitiam woth classic design. Serving some nice local foods. The ambience is superb too. There are outdoor and indoor dining. Recommend outdoor seats as it's set up in between a backlane of very archaic building. Their laksa and nasi lemak are the highlights.
2. Yee Kee (Butter Cake)
A local koptiam serving traditional Malaysian breakfast.

A. Dried Curry Wanton noodles
B. Dessert Soup (Hebal Egg Soup)
C. Butter Cakes ( very limited). It will be sold out after 11am.

How to get to Telaga Tujuh Serendah

If you are driving from KL on Federal Route 1, once in Serendah, turn right at the traffic lights into Jalan Dato Harun. Go straight until you can’t go straight anymore then turn left and you’re almost there.
4. Bukit 2 Ringgit
This hiking trail is closeby to Serendah. It's literally located in between Rawang / Bukit Beruntung. If you're a season hiker, this hill will be at no challenge to you. It takes less than 30 mins to reach the summit.
There is a sandy trail leading all the way up to the peak. You can rest assured that the view up at the peak is very astonishing. There are also some pinnacle alike shape of rocks at the hilltop. You will never regret of hiking up there as you might have a chance to capture some super cool pictures with these handsome rocks.

words cant describe how beautiful this park is. The park is by the lake and its complemented by the lofty mountains. How can you find a park with such a paranomic hillside scenery. It's an perfect place for a picnic. Cool air plus astonishing scenic view.
There are some children playground near to the park. It's a fantastic place for children too.

This selangor dam in Kuala Kubu Bahru is one of main water supplies to all the areas in hulu selangor. The view of the dam is super breathaking. Watching the dam from far as if seeing an earthly paradise appears out of nowhere.
The dam is truly borderless. It seems having a lot of miraculous elements underneath.

8. Wind Valley Kuala Kubu Bahru
It's a perfect place for camping. There are many camping sites in the Wind Valley. This place is clean and well kept. The most unique is the floating camping platform near to the river. Imagining you're setting up the tent in the middle of river, and watching the starlit sky in a silent night. Heart to heart talk with your loved ones. It's so cool !

9. Yue Shan Gu Miao Temple ( 岳山古庙观音阁)
This temple has more than 100 years old. The rainbow stairs and colorful painting has attracted many tourists to come for a photo shooting.
This is the most cheerful temple that we all have ever seen and trust that the god will is to make everyone happy as a human being.
10. Alor Lempah
Alor Lempah is a beautiful river fall platform as well as a splashing pool. The beautiful surroundings have made this place an ideal camping sites and a picnic. This place is so much cool and refreshing. Do come by if you're in Kuala Kubu Bahru.
