Far form the hustle and bustle city, tranquility, bird chirping sound, surrounded by greeneries, cool mountain air, thick tropical rainforest. Trust that all these wonders can help perfectly describe the theme of this Happi Village Resort.
This resort is nestled in the core of the tropical forest of Janda Baik. It's one of the hidden gem among other resorts. This resort is situated remotely in a mountain side area. To reach out to this resort, it requires to drive along a small and bumpy muddy road all the way ascending up to a slope.
You can never imagine that this gorgeous resort is located just right at the edge of the slope. It's neighboring to other resort like Adam's place and Bidaisari Resort.
There are only 12 units of villa available for booking currently. So advance booking is required.
Every block of villa comes with upper and lower floors. The exterior of the villa is covered up by sprawling plants, flowers and the villa is mostly build in wooden materials.
I pretty like their concept. Plants and Trees are widely used for their resort decoration. The villa is featured with retro concept, using all the natural materials and the entire villa is furnished in an earth tone colours. It's a indeed a very modern classic design.
The room is air-conditioned with full facility, dim light, and super comfortable. It allows you to really experience the natural quietness, tranquility and the sense of flora and fauna. Insect whirring at night, many diffrent species of birds can be spotted here, and fresh ionised air produced by the tropical forest.

Other facilities include:-
1. Private Bathtub
Every villa comes with a private bathtub. This is one of the highlight of this resort. It's also the most eye catching one. Personally, I prefer the bathtub at the lower unit villa. It's behind the bedroom and very spacious and unique.
The bathtub is set up under an open air concept and surrounded by some real plants. It's really fabulous ! It's alike a balinses style bathroom but with a rainforest concept.
It's so lovely and charming. I was truly impressed by the bathtub and the entire bathroom areas. It's so revolutionarily gorgeous.
2. Swimming pool
A very back to the basic swimming pool using spring water. Less chlorine. The pool is very unique and it's set beside the forest.
3. Theatre room
A Theatre room is available for common use. There is no TV in the villa. So this is the only place for reaching to some entertainment. But suggest not to watch TV and spend more time bonding with the mother nature.

4. Breakfast is provided
The breakfast is a tailor-make from the owner. It's simple but quality and nutritious. All the ingredients are high graded specially picked by the owner.
5. Walkabout
There is a small trekking pathway in the resort. It's good to walk around after your dinner or have a morning walk. The pathway is leading into the forest. But not really complete.
6. Camera Shooting Spots
If you like photo shooting, believe that you can find a lot of beautiful spots for a perfect photographing.
Happi Village is still in the progress of expanding. They're adding more villas to accomodate more guests capacity. I'll surely return in a day to try out their other villa types.
I love their back to basics concept yet it's too comfortable to call it basic stay.
A perfect honeymoon place that you will find a lot of loves, sweetness and hearty laughters.
