Came across this place in Agoda booking dot Com and finally decided to spend a night here to enjoy the natural mountain view.
The review of this resort is mostly positive and most of the comments & feedback are highly rated.
Harmony Valley Retreat is nestled in the jalan Tanarimba forest near to pineyard Cafe. The entrace is via the main gate of pineyard Cafe. Seriously, I didn't know that further in from Pineyard Cafe, there are still many resort and homes alongside this forest hills.
The security is very stringent. Only authorised guest is allowed to enter to the hillside area. If your booking is successful, you identity will be handed over to the security guard for further validation of your access.
After clearing the security guard, the pine yard Cafe is just right at the left we need to drive further uphill. The road condition is very good as it's properly tarred.
Approximately 5km driving through a winding road, it will lead us to our resort. A very steep slope descending down to our resort reception.
After registration, we were told that our booked unit is not located at the main building but it's on another side which is a neighbouring block. We re-parked our car near to our stay block.
The neighbouring block which is our booked unit block consisting of 4 levels. The highest is a rooftop with all the plants & nursery.
We were assigned to 2nd floor and our unit was beautifully facing the greens and forest view. The room is rather basic but the most impressive one is the spacious balcony featured with a leaning chair and coffee table. This is the most ideal corner for a holistic mountain and forest view.
The air surrouding is cooling and chilling. Zero pollution and the sense of the flora and fauna lingering around the entire place. No auto-mobile noise and the only noise is the cricket buzzing and the roaster crowing sound.
This is a super natural place surrounded by the essence of greens and woods. You can sit on the balcony for the entire day without feeling a sense of disturbance.
I'm here to walk through the in-house facility:-

1. Goat hut,
2. Fish ponds
3. Lotus ponds (with many tiny frogs)
4. Fruit trees
5. Gardens ( diffrent species of flowers)

2. Entertainment (you won't feel bored during your stay as there are many Entertainment to keep you energetic.

4. Pool table
5. Giant chess set
6. Some friendly petting animals (there is a very fluffy pussy cats, trusty that this is the guardian of this place.
3. Breakfast
Breakfast is included. It's not a buffet style but it's a very lovely customised Breakfast set from the owner. One person one set. It's very good enough to fill out your hungry stomach and to start up a beautiful day.
4. Star watching
A sky fill up with stars. If the sky is clear, you will see the star universe just right above you. They seem like sharing their word with you through the power of blinking.
5. Sunrise watching
Our unit is facing sun rise direction. The morning sun rise is always the most charming one especially when the light peirce though the curtain and remind you that a beautiful day is right waiting for you ahead.
6. Rooftop garden
If you are a fan of Gardening, do go up to the roop top and there are many plants and flowers grown there. The whole rooftop covered by diffrent plants, vegetable, and flowers. Its indeed a great effort from the owners. This is a superb observatory deck too to view the mountain and hillside.
7. Farm walk
If you have a daily routine of going for a morning walk, then the farm walk is the most ideal trail. Breathing in the freshest air and relaxing your 5 senses.
I would rate Harmony Valley Retreat with 5 stars. My overall experience was really fantastic. From hospitable staff, good Breakfast, beautiful interior and wondeful in-house programs. It's always an ideal place for a family vacation.
